Exposed Acne Treatment

Acne is formed when dirt on the surface of the skin clogs the pores. This can be avoided by repeating the 3 steps of cleansing, toning and moisturizing daily and exfoliating weekly. But once acne does pop up and all you’re tempted to do is squeeze it away, stop! The first step to acne treatment is to NOT squeeze or scratch them off as it can cause permanent scarring. There are basically two ways to treat acne; home remedies with natural ingredients or with shelf products that have received good reviews and proven effectives. For home remedies, try a honey mask once or twice a week. Honey because it has antibacterial properties and great for unclogging pores. At the same time, its natural properties work gently on the skin as well. Aside from that, Aloe Vera, lavender oil, a paste formed with blended garlic, a mixture of rose water and sandalwood paste or powdered Neem can work as well. Apply it to the skin for about 15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. It’s never easy to maintain good and healthy skin , but by taking a few minutes each day to pamper your face you should have no problem at all. While you care for the surface of your skin, don’t forget to care for what’s underneath it as well. Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day and get sufficient sleep daily. After all, what’s healthy on the inside shows on the outside.
