Acne – A Brief Overview

Acne is a skin condition that develops when oil in the skin mixes with dead skin to block your skin pores. Acne comes in many forms. It is often referred to as blackheads, pimples and zits. Some people only have a couple of blackheads and pimples on their face whiles others develop the acute form of acne. These people have many pimples covering their face, neck, chest and even their backs. A lot of teenagers develop the mild form of acne but this will normally go away after the teenage years. But some do not go away and develop into more serious acne. The majority of people with acne gets them when they get into their teens. The reason being that the skin becomes a lot more oily when you start puberty. Contrary to popular believe, acne is not acquired through the eating of sugary or oily foods.
